As part of our commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, our fellows recently participated in a Meeting Our Community experience by visiting several community organizations throughout St. Louis, including St. Patrick Center, Casa de Salud, and Affinia Healthcare.
These visits provided an opportunity for fellows to connect with community partners, learn about the resources available to patients, and gain a deeper understanding of the social factors that influence health and access to care. By engaging with providers and organizations outside of the hospital setting, our fellows continue to strengthen their commitment to delivering equitable and comprehensive rheumatology care.
